****RIDING RHYTHMS….this is music that fits right in with the presidential election that you can let play in the background as you read the true tales. LISTEN

****LATE BREAKING NEWS (updated constantly)…. TODAY

****HERE IS WHERE YOU CAN FIND WHAT HIS HONEY, MRS. BUSH, IS DOING….MRS. BUSH

****TWO WARS ARE BETTER THAN ONE (some people die, some people make profits with u.s. army contracts.) WAR

****CONFRONTATIONS ALL OVER THE PLACE….new yorkers are yelling and screaming at each other spouting the rhetoric of their respective political parties. wear a button and you are easily identified. the ralph nader people get it the worst. it is scary. biggest battles seem to be at the green markets.

****HALLOWEEN IS ON THE WAY… the way the kiddies do trick or treat in the big apple is strange. it is a great deal different from the way they do it in the suburbs. all the parent needs is a bathrobe and slippers. pumpkins are selling like wild. some of us are going to dress as cab drivers for the spooky night.

****FLU HAS OFFICIALLY ARRIVED….nine people in a nursing home in harlem have come down with the flu. city authorities are doing very little in this crisis. mayor bloomberg brags that his 95 year old mother can’t get a flu shot. also, thousands have started calling in because their landlords are not giving them heat as required by law.

****PHILOSOPHY FROM THE WORLD OF HACK (people will wonder at your sophistication)…. “this year's tax freedom day was april 11th.”

****YENTA YACK FROM THE BACK OF THE HACK (what they are talking about in the yellow mobile conveyance lounge)….the biggest cry baby in town. the new york yankees lost. a number of people are happy about it.

****THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY (what the media didn't tell you).... a
u.s. army captain is trying to get out of the army. he has decided that he makes the policy, not the army. the press neglects to mention that the army captain’s lawyer is a mafia lawyer.

**THE EARL THEATER ALWAYS SHOWED A DOUBLE FEATURE AND HERE WE ARE WITH A SECOND FLICK. a mariachi band on the streets of el barrio. MARIACHI

****THE HEY ABBOTT AWARD (an epistle about life)....famous talk show host tells listeners how to live their lives, yet he appears to be unable to keep his own lips zipped. if he is so innocent of sexual harassment of an employee, why is trying to make a deal with his accuser? EPISTLE

****TAKE A HIKE (this week's street festival)…. there is an absolutely wonderful display at rockefeller center that lets you pretend that you are the president of the united states. other things to do can be found at TAKE A HIKE

****POSSIBILITIES (could it not be?)....that the lady who is the boss of the care organization in iraq was not really taken hostage? so far the major terrorist groups say they don’t have her.

****AMMA'S KITCHEN (a recipe….this is what you would find cooking in a nyc home)….nothing better than a plate of corned beef hash. GOOD EATS

****JASON BLAIR AWARD (for the worst journalism during the previous week)….to the new york city newspapers and radio stations for not reporting that the new york state attorney general is starting an investigation of the payola our radio stations get for playing certain music. we found the news in an industry newspaper which cited sony, emi, warner music group and universal music group.

****THE MOST WANTED TOUR IN THE BIG APPLE….can you imagine driving around all day with two lawyers? you too can have a tour by going to TOUR INFO

**and if you want to hear what happy tourists had to say about the tour, just go HAPPY
